Civil War Show Comes to Great Valley

The multimedia exhibit will be in Chester County Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Pennsylvania Civil War Road Show has set up shop in the parking lot of Penn State Great Valley, an early stop on a long trek every county in the commonwealth.

The traveling exhibit is spending a few years—150 years after the conflict—traveling throughout the state.

Local reenactors will be on hand to talk about the time period. Inside the academic building, history buffs will help visitors research their geneology and discover if any of their ancestors fought in the Civil War.

Check out the attached video for more detail on what the show has to offer.

The event runs Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. The university is located at 30 E. Swedesford Road in Malvern. The entire event is free and open to the public.
