Patriots Day at Great Valley High School

• When: Saturday, Oct. 27, starting at 9 a.m.
  
• Where: Great Valley High School 225 Phoenixville Pike, Malvern
• Why Go: Great Valley High School’s Homecoming Day is full of morning events and games, followed by a Disney themed parade at 1 p.m., all of which are open to the public. There will be food vendors, as well as many club fundraisers and retail vendors, an antique car show, a flea market and new this year is a mini-carnival. The football game starts at 2:30 p.m.

UMLY Haunted Mansion Presents "Doctor of Darkness"

• When: Saturday, Oct. 27 from 6 - 10 p.m.
  
• Where: Upper Main Line YMCA, 1416 Berwyn Paoli Rd, Berwyn
• Why Go: Check out the Main Line's largest haunted attraction with four floors of terror. All proceeds go to our Changing Lives Annual Support Campaign.

Halloween Festival

• When: Sunday, Oct. 28 from Noon - 4 p.m.
  
• Where: Upper Main Line YMCA, 1416 Berwyn Paoli Rd, Berwyn
• Why Go: Festival fee includes a "Lights On" tour of our haunted house plus hayrides, crafts, pumpkin painting, storytelling, face painting, moon bounce, and more. Food concessions for fee also available.

Fabulous Shoe Night

• When: Thursday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m.
  
• Where: Redhound Grille 128 Paoli Pike, Paoli
• Why Go: Fabulous Shoe Night is a women's social group, for women who love shoes but who also want to make a difference in the world and locally. Join the launch of the Upper Main Line chapter of Fabulous Shoe Night tonight.  $15 of your $25 admission fee is a donation to Unite For Her in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Enjoy appetizers, drink specials and meet women who love shoes and a good cause. Local shops have donated items to be raffled off at the event.

Halloween Bash & Costume Contest

• When: Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m.
  
• Where: Redhound Grille 128 Paoli Pike, Paoli
• Why Go: Grown-ups like to get dressed in a costume too.  Wear your costume and come out for a night of dancing, live music, treats, specialty drinks and food.  There will be a costume contest and they will be rewarding best couple or group, scariest and most creative.
