Malvern Moms Collecting Supplies for Sandy Victims
The local MOMS Club will send a bus filled with supplies to NJ next weekend.
Editor's note: The following information comes from Kristin Thomas of the Malvern MOMS club.
The MOMS Club of Malvern is helping to collect basic necessities to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey.
We will be filling a bus with items and delivering them to a distribution center next weekend.
If you'd like to help, please consider donating:
- blankets
- non-perishable food with protein such as jars of peanut butter or cans of tuna
- canned goods
- hand sanitizer
- cleaning supplies: buckets, mops, brooms, clorox, rubber gloves, laundry detergent
- warm clothing and coats
- plus size clothing
- toiletries
- men's and women's new underwear - all sizes
- new socks
- diapers and pull-ups
- baby formula and baby food
- double AA batteries
- new pillows
- animal food bowls
- litter boxes/littter/scoops
- cans of dog and cat food
- gift cards to: Shop Rite, Walmart, Target, PetSmart, Home Depot and Lowes
Items can be dropped off at the Nelson's home at 340 East Broad Street in Malvern before Friday [Nov. 9, 2012] at noon.
Please put items into boxes or hefty bags and leave them on the tarp in the driveway.
Items will then be moved to the storage warehouse next door at Nelson Roofing every evening.

Thank you all for so many wonderful donations. Kraps donated 4 buses and we filled them all! Two went to AC and two went to Trenton.
