    CANCELED: Malvern Borough Halloween Parade on Sunday.

    I just got an email from borough manager Sandy Kelley informing me it has been called off due to the storm.

    If the weather is horrendous on Halloween would the town postpone trick-or-treating or should residents make their own back-up plans?

    Updates from Willistown Police Dept (‏@WillistownPD):

    Willistown Public Works have placed temporary stop signs at intersections on West Chester Pike due to intermittent signal outages.

    Hillview Road is closed between Barr Road and Fox Chase Road due to flooding

    Jaffrey Road between Grubb Road and Warren Avenue is closed due to a tree down with wires. PECO is on site.

    Public Works personnel have cleared a downed tree blocking northbound Line Road.

    From PECO:
    Of the 5,100 customers in Willistown, between 501-1,500 are without power.
    Of the 4,600 in East Whiteland, 51-500 are without power.
    Of the 1,800 in Malvern Borough, 0 are without power.
    For the 2,200 in Charlestown, there are "scattered outages."

    Willistown PD: Spring Road between Sugartown Road and Warren Avenue is closed due to flooding.

    Reminder—In the borough, trash pickup was canceled today. All Trash and Recyclables will be collected on Friday, November 2nd.
