Readers' Choice: Best Hoagie?

Cast a vote in our weekly poll of local superlatives.

Hoagies are an indispensible part of many people's diets. This week, we're looking for your suggestions for the best place to find them.

Who has the best hoagies in the Malvern area?

The choices: Anthony's Pizza & Italian Restaurant, Ciabatta, Firehouse Subs, Great Valley Deli, Jack's Pizza and Pasta, Julie Anne's Place, Let's Do Lunch, Malvern Pizza and Beer, Venice Pizza & Pasta, Wawa Food Markets and John's Pizza.

Do you have a nominee that we didn't include in our list? Tell us in the comments and we'll add it to the poll.

Also post in the comments any anecdotes or reasons behind your vote—just don't forget to mention whom you're endorsing!

Polls will close at 9 a.m. on Friday. The poll results and directory reviews will be weighed equally in determining the winner.

My vote - Wawa. I can see Anthonys as a very close second. Wawa can't touch Anthony's meatball hoagie or Italian grinders. Haven't tried some places on the list in all fairness. This is a good one. It also brings in to the discussion what is the difference between a hoagie and a sub? Most would say just the name but i'm not sure we all agree on that. You need Amoroso rolls made Schuylkill water for a good hoagie :) Interesting that Subway isn't on the list!

I know it in exton and paoli but how about Primo's Hoagies. That is the first place I think of.

I would say John's Pizza, hands down. But since they're not in the poll, it's Wawa.

Hi MacTavish, John's is on the list now. Thanks for the suggestion.

As in the T-E patch poll, I am shocked that WAWA is leading by so many votes. I am a big wawa fan but their hoagies are average at best.
