Readers' Choice Poll: Best Park?

Where's the best outdoor spot to enjoy the sunny spring weather?

Last week, we gauged readers' opinions on the best place to enjoy St. Patty's Day. This week, as spring returns, we want to know which park, preserve or trail is your favorite place to enjoy the nice weather.

When you pack the kids, bike or picnic basket into the car, where do you head? Put simply:

What do you think is the best park in the area?

The choices: Battle of the Clouds Park, Birch Road Park, Chester Valley Trail, Conestoga Trail Ecology Park, Down East Park, Garrett Mill Park, Greentree Park, The Horace J. Quann Memorial Park, Kirkwood Preserve, Okehocking Preserve, Paoli Battlefield and Memorial Grounds, Samuel & M. Elizabeth Burke Park, Valley Creek Park and Theodore S.A. Rubino Memorial Park.

Do you have a nominee that we didn't include in our list? Tell us in the comments and we'll add it to the poll.

Also post in the comments any anecdotes from or other reasons for your vote—but don't forget to mention which place you're talking about!

Polls will close at 9 a.m. on Friday. In the event of a tie on our survey, we will break the tie by counting the positive comments written below about the tied businesses, so please let us know why you think your choice is best.

You forgot Rubino Park (playground) on the corner of Broad and Old Lincoln. This is a favorite for parents since it is fenced-in and manageable. VERY SOON I expect to see Greentree Park at the top of the list for playgrounds!

Pete, any chance you can open the polls until this evening? We didn't get the word out to the Moms Club to vote until this afternoon. Oops.

Sorry, I can't reopen the polls. Is there a set installation date for Greentree yet?

Darn, you know we'd all vote for Rubino! Installation at Greentree is the first week in April weather permitting.
