Reminder: Route 30 Work Continues Through August
Aqua PA is replacing a water main on the stretch of Lancaster Avenue in Frazer.
People who travel on Route 30 every day have already noticed the lane closures and work crews set up in the Frazer area. Aqua PA is replacing the water main on that stretch of Lancaster Avenue.
More information from the May 10 Patch article:
The work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily between Morehall Road (Route 29) and a location east of Deerfield Lane, near the Lincoln Court Shopping Center. The work is expected to be completed by August.
"Do expect some congestion, inconvenience, while they're working on that on Route 30," said supervisor Virginia McMichael. "Maybe we'll have enough people on vacation, it won't be too bad."

I know this is an old article, but I thought that Route 30 was supposed to be repaved after Aqua replaced the water main. Why do our roads get torn up constantly and hardly ever put back to normal? I can't wait to see if King Street ever gets repaved after the EastSide Flats construction is completed. I so enjoy driving on uneven roadways. ...not. Pete, can you look into why Route 30 was never repaved?
