T-E Patch: New Name for St. Patrick-St. Monica's Merger
The Catholic schools are set to merge this year.
When it was announced that Malvern's St. Patrick school would merge with St. Monica's in Berwyn, prinicipal Patricia O'Donnell explained that the combined school would have have a new name.
Tredyffrin-Easttown Patch has a scoop on what the new school will be called:
Leaders of the two schools and parishes met last week to forge plans for the fall, even as they await a ruling on St. Patrick's appeal of its closing.
In a letter to St. Monica school and church families, Pastor William Trader revealed the new school will be named Malvern Catholic Regional School.
See the full article on T-E Patch for the rationale behind the new name.
