Business-affairs website and magazine Inc. just released its Best of the Inc. 5000, which lists the top 5,000 fastest growing companies in the nation based on growth and revenue.

Of the 172 Pennsylvania-based companies on the list, two are based in Malvern—Akcelerant Software and Stream Companies.

Another, Saladworks, is based in Conshohocken but has a Paoli location.

Based on the data collected, Inc. highlighted the hottest markets in the country:

America’s fastest growers span 25 industries, all 50 states, and metro areas ranging from Boston to San Diego. New York City had the most honorees, with 350--three more than runner-up Washington, D.C. While nearly half the winners had revenues between $2 million and $10 million, more than 50 took in over $1 billion.
