Wednesday: Malvern-Willistown Greenway Public Input Meeting
The proposed Greenway Plan will be presented for comment and discussion in a public meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. at Sugartown Elementary School.
There will be a public input meeting regarding the proposed Malvern-Willistown Greenway Wednesday night at Sugartown Elementary School.
The greenway would "link by trails numerous open spaces, parks, schools, historic sites, municipal facilities, and the Malvern Business District," according to a flyer on Willistown Township's website (PDF):
The trail system will permit neighborhoods to be connected to this system and allow users to walk or bicycle (in portions) to these facilities rather than drive. The trail network proposes to use existing rights-of-way, trails, sidewalks, and easements and to establish new ones needed to create a continuous system. Implementation will take place over time, perhaps several years, and in phases.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. Comments can also be submitted in advance by email.
For more information on the meeting, view the flyer attached to this article as a PDF.
