Where Was This Photo Taken?
It was in the Malvern area, circa 1991—but where exactly? Register your answer (or guess) in the comments.
The above photograph, provided by the East Whiteland Historical Commission, was taken circa 1991, but the structure was built well over a century earlier. Parents of Great Valley students might have a slight advantage on this one.
A PDF version was also uploaded, for those looking to zoom in on details.
Can you guess where it was taken? Submit your answers in the comments, and we'll post the answer with a current photo next Wednesday.

My parents owned a farm where the Horse Farm is now on Valley View rd. We would stop there and puchase fresh eggs. This was in the 4o's. I called her the egg lady. Valley View was a dirt road.

401 and valley hill (what was called Bacton Hill and maybe still is)
P.S. The Malvern Historical Commission has lots of great photos from VERY long ago that you can use for this. Keep it up. This is fun.

Mr. Sprague is probably correct, but I will venture to say at first glance, this looked like the clubhouse for the East Whiteland Swim Club.
And I'll second that statement that the Malvern Historical Commission has great photos.
