Where Was This Photo Taken?
It was somewhere in the Malvern area, but where exactly?
Attention local history buffs: This one's a real challenge.
The photo above, provided by the East Whiteland Historical Commission, was taken in 1991, graininess notwithstanding.
The building in the photo was constructed circa 1835, and it is (arguably) still standing.
Can you guess where the photo was taken? Submit your answers in the comments, and we'll post the correct answer with a current photo next Wednesday.

This is Ebenezer AME Church on Bacton Hill Road in Frazer, PA. There is a cemetary on the property as well.

I think it is the converted barn (now an office building) on Swedesford Road between Bacton Hill Rd. and the one-lane bridge over the railroad track (I know, it's now a two-lane bridge over the trail).

JoAnn is correct. I just drove by the Ebenezer Church. The electric insulators on the gable are still there and it's difficult to make out the doorway below them from the picture.
