The two photos above, provided by the East Whiteland Historical Commission, were taken in 1979. The buildings pictured were on the same plot of land, but their street addresses are on separate roads.

One of the buildings was constructed in the 17th century. Both still stand today, although they've been renovated.

It looks like that old house on the hill of Conestoga Road (401, East Whiteland) just before Spring Valley Road.

I drive by there all the time... It looks a bit different but that is where I think it is.

At the intersection of Conestoga and Bacton Hill Roads. The buildings sit on a slice of land between the two roads.

Corner of Spring Valley and 401/Conestoga Road.... I remember what it looked like before they renovated it.

Yep, I am sure it must be the house at the point between 401 and Spring Valley, I used to babysit the family that lived there before the historical society sold the building.

Spring Valley Rd @ Conestoga Rd, Lapp Log House, Historic Landmark. Save by Fire Dept in the 90's during tanker truck fire.
