Willistown Police Investigating Rash of Thefts from Cars

Lock your doors, police urge.

Editor's note: The following information comes from the Willistown Police Department:

Willistown Police are investigating 15 thefts from vehicles that occurred in the township June 15 through June 22. All vehicles had been left unlocked, parked in driveways or in front of the owner’s home. Most vehicles had cash, wallets and miscellaneous items taken.

Police would like to advise all residents of the importance of removing all personal items—including cash, loose coins, electronics, GPS and computer equipment from their vehicles and always lock the doors; even when the vehicle is in the driveway.

Do not think that because it’s parked in your driveway, that it’s safe.  If it’s unlocked…..it’s not!!
