The Great Malvern Scavenger Hunt promotes independence in children by enhancing their powers of observation and increasing their knowledge of the Malvern area.
Children from 6-16 take cameras (and extra batteries) on a mission through Malvern to match the photos in a provided booklet with houses, buildings, trees/flowers, signs, etc. and take a picture of it. Points are assigned based on difficulty and prizes for most points in each age group are awarded at the end.

Located in the heart of Malvern, Burke Park features a pavillion for community events and play equipment for children. The playground has a small, artificial rock-climbing wall. There is convenient on- and off-street parking nearby. A portable restroom sits on the park property.

I started it 4 yrs ago as something to do in the summer (my kids were the right age). If you send me an email at the address above, I can send you all the details. Or check facebook at the URL above.
The primary goal is to have a good time and the event is free, but we do sell a few t-shirts and have donation jars out for the National Brain Tumor Society.
It would be great to have your participation!
