 Fine Art\nA  never before hosted in Bucks County art event - Local Color
  is an  extended weekend Plein Air\, (meaning in the open air) event bei
 ng hosted  by gallery owner Howard Cooperman at the Bucks County Gallery
  of Fine  Art located in New Hope PA.\n&nbsp\;Gallery owner Howard Coope
 rman said "that he was inspired by the  Easton Plein Air Festival when h
 e attended last year. The entire  community\, both businesses and reside
 nts were involved. It was so  captivating\, I had to begin a similar eve
 nt in Bucks County because of  our art rich history and wealth of wonder
 ful painters".\n&nbsp\;The exhibition is an invitational\, meaning that 
 the artists  were selected from a handpicked group of nationally acclaim
 ed plein air  painters by gallery owner Howard Cooperman\, that travel t
 he country to  participate in this type of event.\n&nbsp\;Larry Chestnut
 \, John Ennis\, Peter Hunt\, Ty Hodanish\, Jo-Ann Osnoe\,  and Anne Kull
 af\, (all locals to New Hope PA) are amongst 30 artists that  are from a
 cross the United States to participate in the four day event.\n&nbsp\;Th
 e schedule of events include:\nThursday July 26 - 8:00am - 6:00pm the ar
 tists arrive and  begin to paint landscapes\, architecture\, river/canal
  scenes in New Hope.  They will be painting Thursday\, Friday\, &amp\; S
 aturday\n&nbsp\;Friday July 27 - 8:00am - 6:00pm the artists continue pa
 inting our town.\n&nbsp\;Saturday July 28 - 1-3pm "Quick Draw" painting 
 contest at the  Parry Mansion Museum located at the corners of Main &amp
 \; W. Ferry  Streets. Watch as the artists engage in a fierce competitio
 n to finish a  painting on the historic property in two hours. Immediate
 ly following\,  the artwork will be carried to the Bucks County Gallery 
 Located at 77 W.  Bridge Street for judging and a "wet paint sale". If y
 ou fall in love  with a painting as it is being created\, you are welcom
 e to ask one of  the gallery associates to assist in purchasing it on th
 e spot.\n&nbsp\;Saturday July 28 - 5-7pm a Preview Party and Cocktail  R
 eception with the artists will be hosted at Bucks County Gallery.  Guest
 s will have the opportunity to pre purchase freshly painted artwork  pri
 or to the general public reception. Tickets are $20.pp and are still  av
 ailable by calling Howard at 215.862.5272.\n&nbsp\;Sunday July 29 - 2-5p
 m the Grand Opening Reception and Sale.  It is FREE to the general publi
 c. All are invited to see and purchase  any of the art created during th
 e event while meeting the participating  artists.\n&nbsp\;You can reques
 t a favorite spot to be painted by contacting the  gallery. They will ma
 tch you with an artist who will paint the desired  scene that day just f
 or the asking.\n&nbsp\;Artists are prohibited from selling artwork direc
 t to the public as  per New Hope Borough policy. A representative from B
 ucks County Gallery  will be happy to meet you at the artists location i
