FIREBIRD THEATRE TO PRESENT LIVE ON STAGE “IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE!”

PHOENIXVILLE - FIREBIRD THEATRE will take you back to the golden age of American entertainment with its 1940’s style Holiday Revue! Shows will take place on Saturday, December 28 at Phoenixville’s Colonial Theatre at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Our talented cast will perform the classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” adapted as a radio drama for the stage by Tony Palermo. They will be costumed in 1940’s attire while they perform this adaptation of the Frank Capra timeless tale.
What makes this production very special is the cast will be accompanied by musician Clem Mirto on the Theatre Organ Society of the Delaware Valley Inc.’s own Wurlitzer pipe organ. Most people are unaware that TOSDV houses their theatrical Wurlitzer pipe organ at the Colonial; our Holiday Revue show will allow the audience to see the organist perform on stage while the action of the drama takes place around him.
Other performers will present songs, dances and live radio commercials to complement the 1940’s radio play.
Firebird Theatre will also hold a basket raffle fundraiser on December 28th to benefit Phoenixville Area Community Services, PACS.
