Look out....it's coming .... it's almost here ..... it's ..... RABBIT HOLE!

RABBIT HOLE.  A rabbit burrow or underground home.  A metaphor for adventure into the unknown from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.  A bizzare or difficult state or situation, usually used in the phrase "down a rabbit hole."  AND, a vivid, hopeful, honest and unexpectedly witty portrait of a family searching for answers and possibilities in what seems to be a most impossible situation.  In David Lindsay-Abaire's 2006 play, the "perfect family" is struck by sudden, shocking loss and, with the wind knocked out of them, left struggling to survive, to find "normal" again.  They are caught in a spider web of memories, longing, guilt and pent up rage.  For one, home is a comfort - for the other, now a source of pain.  How can they find their way back to a life with potential for happiness when everything they know has them careening off course?

RABBIT HOLE has had a devoted following since its Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2007.  The five member cast shares honesty, pain and humor all rolled into one empathetic experience that leaves its audience reliving and retelling the story long after the curtain closes.  And it's coming .... soon .... to FOOLIGHTERS THEATER at 58 Main Avenue in Berwyn.  Celebrating its 85th Anniversary as the oldest community theater on the Main Line, Footlighters opens its 2013-14 season with this remarkable, impactful story.

Don't miss it.  Join us on this unique journey down the RABBIT HOLE.  Opening August 30th, tickets and information are available at www.FootlightersTheater.com.
