MALVERN VETERINARY CLINIC HOSTS "DECK THE PAWS" HOLIDAY DONATION DRIVE

MALVERN, PA—Until January 3, 2014, the Affinity Veterinary Center of Malvern is hosting the “Deck the Paws” holiday donation drive to collect new and gently used pet items to benefit the Animal House Project, the Chester County SPCA, and the Delaware Humane Society. Items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 AM–8 PM or Saturdays from 8 AM–12 PM at their Malvern location, located at 330 Conestoga Road (Route 401). Suggested donations include towels, blankets, dog beds, cat and dog food, leashes, collars, and toys.

Formerly the Spring Mill Veterinary Hospital, the newly opened Affinity Veterinary Center is hoping to make the holidays easier for the area’s homeless pets. “They deserve to have a happy holiday too! We hope we can help make that happen,” says Dr. Christine Meredith, Affinity’s owner and lead veterinarian. After serving as a relief veterinarian for several of the area’s local clinics and hospitals for several years, Dr. Meredith opened Affinity under its new name in September of this year. Since having its building renovated, the clinic now boasts a welcoming atmosphere, timely appointments, and hands-on care. “We want our focus to be on both the pet and the owner,” says Dr. Meredith.
