Event to feature LinkedIn Workshop, ‘Be Unstoppable’ Lunch Keynote and Vendor Expo
EXTON, Pa., Aug. 28, 2013 – Realizing the last week of August brings with it the start of school for some, last-minute vacations for others and the Labor Day holiday, the Women’s Referral Network of Chester County (WRN) has extended the deadline for exhibitor space registration and sponsorships to Thursday, Sept. 5
The Tuesday, Sept. 10, Be Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Business Women’s Expo already has seen a steady stream of registrations and has only two sponsorships left. But the organization didn’t want to exclude anyone with a “too early” due-date.
“We received feedback from some of our current exhibitors and sponsors, and noted the ‘out of office’ notifications,” said WRN Special Events Chair Cheryl Wilder Krass of Alexemi Publishing. “As a women-focused organization, we’re nimble and can adjust to make sure the opportunity is offered to all and that it’s a first-class event.”
The day will start with a 9 to 10 a.m. “Using LinkedIn Strategically to Power Opportunities” workshop featuring Brynne Tillman, president of Business Development University. At 10 a.m., the vendor exhibition opens, showcasing the area’s top businesses. The exhibitor floor is closed from noon to 1 p.m. during the luncheon keynote, “Take the Limits Off – Get Unstuck and Become Unstoppable,” by Joyce Dungee Proctor, president of Seminars by Joyce – The Total You, Inc. The Expo floor will re-open from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Tuesday, Sept. 10, event will be held at the Downingtown Country Club, 93 Country Club Dr. in Downingtown. The LinkedIn workshop is $10 and runs from 9 to 10 a.m.; the luncheon seminar is $30 and takes place from noon to 1 p.m.; the vendor showcase is free to attend and is open from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 1 to 4 p.m.
Only two sponsorships remain, and exhibit space and program ads are going fast. Investments vary, and may be found online at www.wrnchesco.com. The Expo Media Sponsor is TheTownDish.com; the Workshop Sponsor is Helen O’Hara of Merrill Lynch; and the Luncheon Sponsor is Freedom Village at Brandywine.
