Area History as You'll Likely Never Seen it Again

See why a September event will literally be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

It may be one of the most amazing feats in historic preservation and awareness and it gets even more amazing with each passing year.

That's not just hyperbole.

The Tredyffrin Historic Preservation Trust will hold its ninth annual Historic House Tour on September 28th.  What makes it an amazing feat is that there has never been a repeat house on any of the nine tours.

What that means for you:

Simply put this 'once in a lifetime' chance to get an up close and personal tours of some of the most historic homes in history-rich Tredyffrin and Easttown actually is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

It's a real estate and history voyeur's dream come true.

"According to an event posting byThe Tredyffrin Historic Trust on TE Patch "on Saturday, September 28, 12 PM – 5 PM, the Trust’s 9th Annual Historic House Tour will open the doors to seven private historic homes, a restored ’party’ barn and historic First Church of Christ Scientist in Berwyn. Organist James Sullivan, retired West Chester University music professor, will perform a special concert on the church’s pipe organ, from 2-3 PM as a special treat for tour visitors.

Every year a new selection of amazing historic properties surprise and delight even the most devoted tour goers!   While the homes selected each year change, the Trust’s annual tour offers visitors an opportunity to experience the extraordinary historical and architectural heritage of the community. This is a wonderful chance for historic neighborhoods to highlight their diverse architectural heritage and for homeowners to show visitors how their historic homes blend with modern lives."

More information about the tour and tickets information can be found here on the Tredyffrin Historic Preservation Trust's website.
