The Winter's Tale

  • When: Through March 3
  • Where: People's Light and Theatre Company
  • Why Go: This weekend enjoy performanced on Friday at 8 pm, Saturday at 8 pm, and Sunday at 2 and 7pm.   Internationally-acclaimed director Guy Hollands joins us from Scotland to reinvent this tale of kings and queens, revenge and betrayal, spanning countries, seasons, decades, and generations.

Cafe Fridays Lenten Seafood Dinner and Theater

  • When: Friday's from February 15 - March 29
  • Where: Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, 380 N Fairfield Rd, Devon
  • Why Go: Cafe Fridays opens Friday featuring seafood dinners and Christian Theatre every Friday throughout the season.  Call 610-647.5835 to reserve seating for 7 or more  Or place a take-out order. Dinner Theatre begins at 7:30pm. 
  • Cost:  $10 per dinner

The Haiku Spirit: Exploring Nature Through Poetry Workshop

  • When: Sunday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m.
  • Where: Jenkins Arboretum 631 Berwyn Baptist Rd, Devon
  • Why Go:  This Exploration Haiku Poetry Workshop will be led by Julia Grace, Multi Media Artist & Writer.  Come explore the spirit of haiku, a form of Japanese poetry almost inseparable from nature. Listen to a reading of haiku by the old masters and modern poets, and write your own haiku inspired by the gardens in winter and the Ikebana floral arrangements that will be on display in the Lecture Room, along with Japanese quilts on exhibit. Please bring a notebook and pen or pencil.
  • Cost:  $25 members; $35 non-members. Pre-registration required.

Parents Night Out - Kids Night In

  • When: Friday, Feb. 15 from 6:30 - 9 p.m.
  • Where: The Center on Central, 24 W Central Ave, Paoli
  • Why Go: This weeks theme: Valentine’s Day Party.  Includes a pizza snack, an arts activity and/or craft project – which will have a different theme each month, and ends with a movie-chill out time to be ready for bedtime after pick up
  • Cost: $30 for first child, $20 for each additional sibling

PLACES! Community Theater Musical

  • When: Through Feb. 16
  • Where:Footlighters Theater 58 Main Ave, Berwyn
  • Why Go: In a celebration of Theater supporting Theater, Footlighters Community Theater is proud to present a World Premiere musical event by local author and composer Danny Scott—PLACES!  Follow the musical paths of uniquely talented strangers as they grow to become the closest of friends in this heart warming and toe tapping production about the relationships that are created in community theater.
