Malvern Patch Asks: Hot Air Balloons Rising?

Malvern Patch reader Neil recently asked via email:

This morning, a hot air balloon past just north of the Malin Station community right over rt. 202.  It was fairly low to the ground.  I did not get a picture. 

However, back on September 23rd. I did get the attached shot of a hot air balloon that landed on the landfill area near Knickerbocker golf course.

I am curious to know if there is a new staging area for hot air balloons in East Whiteland.  In 10+ years of living in Malvern, I had never seen them.  It is cool to see them float by.  If I see more float by, I will take another picture.

Can anyone in readerland shed some light on this story? Is there a new staging area nearby, or have the winds been just so recently as to float the balloons toward Malvern?
