The Latest on Winter's Last Gasp

New projections show the storm will be worse farther south.

The winter storm projected to hit the region Sunday night and Monday morning may not be as bad as initial predictions led us to believe, but it will still be a “significant late winter storm,” the National Weather Service said Saturday night.

According to the latest predictions, Chester County will receive 1 to 2 inches of snow, the NWS said. The storm will be worse farther south, with Delaware getting a forecasted 6 inches of snow.

Snow will begin Sunday evening and may continue into Monday morning. There is a chance that Monday commutes will be impacted, the NWS said.
