Malvern Author Kerry Luksic Book Signing in Exton

Information from the author:

Malvern resident and Alzheimer’s advocate Kerry Luksic will be signing copies of her memoir, "Life's Lessons from a Baker's Dozen," at the Chester County Library, Exton, on Saturday, March 24, 2pm.

The book is a tribute to Luksic's mother, Bobbie Lonergan, who raised 13 children and now struggles with Alzheimer's disease. At the event, Luksic will share background on the book, discuss key themes, read a few excerpts, and sell/sign books. The memoir shares the universal themes of faith, coming of age life lessons, large Irish Catholic family dynamics, and the unbreakable bonds between mothers and daughters. It also includes a resource section for those who are affected by Alzheimer's and looking for information. Ten-percent of royalties earned will be donated to Alzheimer’s support and research programs.
Some of Luksic’s other Alzheimer’s advocacy work has been published in The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Star Ledger, The Main Line Times and Parents
Express. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit www.kerryluksic.com
