Immaculata Symphony to Perform Christmas Concert Sunday

The symphony will play seasonal selections from Mendelssohn and Rimsky-Korsakov.

The Immaculata Symphony, under the direction of conductor Joseph Gehring will perform a Christmas concert Sunday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. 

The concert will take place at Immaculata University's Alumnae Hall and will guest pianist Dr. William Carr. Students from Renaissance Academy Dance Department will also perform.

Highlights of the concert include Felix Mendelssohn’s Hark! The Herald Angels Sing; Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Dance of the Tumblers from “The Snow Maiden;” and Leroy Anderson’s Piano Concerto in C. 

Tickets cost $5 at the door, but admission is free for children under 12 and Immaculata students with ID.
