Read Excerpts from Lisa Scottoline's New Novel

The Philadelphia Inquirer has been running the opening chapters of 'Don't Go,' Scottoline's newest book.

Malvern resident and novelist Lisa Scottoline has released a new book, Don't Go, which is published by St. Martin's Press and reached bookstore shelves Tuesday.

The book follows an Army doctor's battles in a war zone and after he returns home, according to the description on Scottoline's website:

When Dr. Mike Scanlon is called to serve as an army doctor in Afghanistan, he’s acutely aware of the dangers he’ll face and the hardships it will cause his wife Chloe and newborn baby.  And deep inside, he doesn’t think of himself as a warrior, but a healer.

The Philadelphia Inquirer, for which Scottoline writes a column, has been running excerpts from the book in its magazine and Style & Soul sections.
