Threat of Severe Weather Moves Summer Stage Show Indoors

The concert will still be free, organizers said, but People's Light only seats around 300 people. People will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wednesday night's Friends of Summer Stage concert has been moved indoors because of the threat of severe weather.

The show, originally set for Valley Creek Park, will now be held at People's Light and Theatre Company, 39 Conestoga Road, Malvern.

Scythian will be performing with special guest Mason Porter. Scythian "merges Irish, gypsy, and Americana with thunderous energy, technical zest, and soulful songwriting, beckoning crowds into a barn-dance rock concert experience," Friends of Summer Stage says on its website

The concert will still be free, organizers said, but People's Light only seats around 300 people. People will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 6:30 p.m.
