Caffè Craze Reopens Thursday at 6 a.m.

The train-station cafe has been closed during station renovations.

Good news for rail commuters who've lacked proper caffeination in recent months: will reopen Thursday, Dec. 1, at 6 a.m.

"All coffees will cost a dollar the whole month of December," cafè owner Dawn Lewis said. "As thank you for everyone's patience and tolerance of us being closed, and to celebrate the reopening."

The cafè, which operates during morning hours at the Malvern train station, has been closed since July, while SEPTA renovated the station. It will open again Thursday morning from 6 to 10:30 a.m., and it will be open Friday night for .

"It's been a long time coming ... We had to wait until the fences were moved away and didn’t look so much like construction site," Lewis said.

Lewis moved to Malvern Borough since 1996 and opened Caffe Crazè in 1997. Over the last five months, she's devoted her time to the chai side of her business. Caffe Crazè Chai supplies chai to local businesses including Classic Diner, in Newtown Square, and in Haverford.
