Celebrity Chef Coming to Wegmans

He'll be in town April 26 to promote his new 'Barbecue Addiction' book.

Chef Bobby Flay will stop by the Malvern Wegmans April 26 to promote his new book, Bobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction.

Flay owns several restaurants, including Bobby's Burger Palace in Philadelphia, and has been featured on several Food Network shows. 

The Malvern appearance runs from 6 to 8 p.m., and space is limited:

The event is free to Shoppers Club cardholders, according to the Wegmans website, but an email from the company said, "Books must be purchased at Wegmans to attend."

Update 3:45pm—Wegmans representative Valerie Fox clarifies the requirements for attendance via email, saying the website needs to be updated:

Customers may visit the customer service desk to get a free voucher to attend the event. They do need to purchase the book at Wegmans, where it is available at a 30% discount. Please note that the book is not released until April 23.
