East Goshen Farmers Market Returns Thursday

About three dozen vendors will set up shop each week from 3 to 7 p.m.

The begins its 2012 outdoor season Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. in , a stone's throw from the border with Willistown.

Several of the vendors were profiled on Malvern Patch last year, including: , , , , and . The videos from those profiles are attached to this article.

Blueberry Hill Farm - Peg and Clyde Dearoff  grow gorgeous berries and veggies in Lancaster County - longest lines at the market!
Carmen B's Honey - Local honey, East Goshen Honey, fresh from Carmen Battavio's hives.
Chile Spot - Jeff's spicy creations include a variety of hot sauces, salsas and jams.
Dia Doce - Thais is our cupcake queen, winner of Food Network's Cupcake Wars! She offers new flavors every week using many local ingredients - she always has gluten free, lactose free, and vegan options.
Ellen April Handcrafted Soap - Ellen's soaps and lotions are a market favorite - she offers an extensive variety of scents to please everyone.
Frecon Farm - This Boyertown orchard brings beautiful fruits to our market - berries, cherries, stone fruits, apples, pears and more; did I mention cider? 
Fresh A Peel Hummus - Richard and his sister make hummus - great hummus - in a variety of flavors.
Golden Valley Coffee Roasters - Coffee roasted right here in West Chester, Golden Valley is certified fair trade and organic; and is also bird friendly.
Good Spoon Seasonal Food - Kate makes delicious seasonal soups for our market, and, this year is adding side salads to her list of offerings.
John & Kiras - Chocolate, need we say more? Made in Phlladelphia using local ingredients whenever possible. Decadent - worth it!
Laura's - Laura brings her small batch biscotti and granola to our market. Her biscotti flavors change with the season.
Lindenhof Farms - Axel and family raise pastured livestock for market - beef, pork, lamb, chicken and turkeys; and eggs! Their chicken and turkey pies are a market favorite.
Livengood Farms - Dwain and family have a beautiful farm in the heart of Lancaster County. They bring a wide variety of produce to our market grown using organic practices.
Market Day Canele - Featured in Food and Wine last year, Gil has mastered the canele, a confection from the Bordeaux region of France. They also offer a weekly special sweet and savory tart, and a few other specialities.
Mompops - Issa is a summer staple at our market - he makes popsicles using many local ingredients in his creations. Everyone loves cooling off with a popsicle from Mompops!
My House Cookies - Don't let the name fool you - Marie brings not just cookies, but all sorts of delicious baked goods to our market - pies, brownies, scones, quiche, and more. 
Naughty Nutty Love - Denise makes nut butters - peanut, almond, and more - fresh roasted and ground to perfection. 
Philly Fair Trade Coffee Roasters - You can pick up this robust coffee, roasted fresh in Philly, from Nem at the Market Day Canele tent.
Pureblend - Kari offers a wide variety of loose teas, and her speciality matcha blends, at market. Thirsty - she'll mix up a cup of tea to enjoy at market.  She also carries a line of seasoned salt. 
Ridge Valley Farm - Maple syrup - Jim is our maple syrup farmer. Every pancake deserves real maple syrup, and Jim offers the best.
Saint Peters Bakery - Pete and Melanie joined us for our winter market and quickly became a huge hit. Melanie bakes hearty breads, croissants, and more. Home of the Bakery - St. Peters Village in northwest Chester County.
Schaeffer's Flowers - Bev and Denny grow flowers, beautiful flowers, for our market. It's hard to leave the market without picking up a bouquet.
Shellbark Hollow Farm - East Goshen's own goat farm brings their delicious goat cheese to our market.  Pete and his sister Donna (co-coordinator of the EGFM) produce a variety of goat milk products - cheese, yogurt and kefir.
Vernalicious - Verna will be back, offering her delicious dinner options - picnic in the park or take it home - everyone is talking about her Banh Mi sandwiches.
Veronica's Doggie Delights - every dog knows that you need to head to Veronica's tent to get the best doggie treats - whimsical, and according to my four-legged friends, delicious!


And now for our new market participants: 
All Star BBQ - Ken will be happy to prepare your dinner for you! A new "ready to eat" vendor, Ken has an impressive BBQ set up and an extensive menu to please all!
Birchrun Hills Farm - Sue will be joining our market this year and we couldn't be happier! Sue will have artisan cow's milk cheeses, veal, speciality sausages and more.
Burkholder Organics - From Kutztown, PA, the Burkholder family farm is certified organic! They grow a wide variety of veggies and some fruits, including figs!
Ellen's Jams - Burkholder's Organics will be offering beautiful jams, preserves, and pickled produce from Ellen - also from Kutztown.
Jack's Jams - Jack offers a wide variety of jams, jellies, preserves and pickled produce made from local ingredients.
Jenny and Frank's Artisan - Gelato - - - Italy's nod to ice cream - made with fresh, local ingredients. A little taste of Italy in East Goshen Park! Ciao!
Ka Chi - Welcome a new food truck to our "ready to eat" menu - Korean specialities! This truck is a huge hit on the WCU campus. Rice bowls, Korean tacos, bibimbap, kimchi fried rice - yum!
Mesa Fresh - Hola! EGFM has a taco truck - offering an extensive menu of Mexican favorites. Perfect for dinner in the park, or take home a menu sampling!
Oley Valley Mushrooms - Angela and Joe grow mushrooms, blue ribbon mushrooms - shiitake, white trumpet, oyster, portobellos, and more. 
Philly Bill's Dills - Pickles, perfectly pickled cucumbers, fresh pack pickles, crispy, briney, delicious!
Zsa's Gourmet Ice Cream  - check your diet at the door - locally sourced ingredients in a magical concoction of ice creamy goodness ... swoon!
