The Wurzak Hotel Group is pleased to announce that they will be joining forces with Ralph’s Italian Restaurant to launch a brand new eatery, Ralph’s of South Philly - at the soon-to-open Sheraton Valley Forge. Located in the thriving King of Prussia corridor, the Sheraton Valley Forge will be the area’s leading full service hotel, offering guests a new dimension in design, comfort and convenience. Slated to open this fall, the $30+ million property will excite the area with its unique design, outstanding lobby, 180 spacious guestrooms, and its distinctive food and beverage offerings.

The Sheraton Valley Forge will offer locals and out-of-town guests alike a truly unique dining experience with its full-service restaurant. As one of Philadelphia’s most iconic restaurants, Ralph’s of South Philly needs no formal introduction. This fifth generation South Philadelphia institution was recently recognized as the oldest Italian restaurant in America and is the perfect pairing to Sheraton Valley Forge’s open-style lobby bar and lounge.

In creating this partnership, the Wurzak Hotel Group continues to put innovation at the top of its agenda. Building on the success of its original long-standing location, this expansion of Ralph’s is thrilling for both parties involved.

“When we started talking about the possibility of opening a new restaurant, this opportunity seemed too good to be true,” says Ryan Rubino, Ralph’s of South Philly General Manager and Owner. “We look forward to serving the people of Valley Forge and are counting down the days to the opening of this exquisite hotel."

The new restaurant concept will be a contemporary version of the original. Grounded with the style of Italian cooking we are all familiar with, the restaurant will feature many “Ralph’s Classics,” as well as new dishes with a modern twist. This unique combination will make Ralph’s of South Philly the perfect compliment to Sheraton Valley Forge’s sleek yet cozy atmosphere.

“We could not be more excited about partnering with Ralph’s of South Philly,” says Eric Davies, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Wurzak Hotel Group. “We have always been fans of Ralph’s and enjoy their authenticity and passion for great quality Italian food.”

The new restaurant will offer premium dining and a full-service bar with its own substantial food menu and an extensive wine list for restaurant users as well as post-work diners and tourists.

“The introduction of this iconic Philly restaurant will be a welcome addition for both tourists and residents,” states Jake Wurzak, Principal, Acquisitions & Development for Wurzak Hotel Group. “Valley Forge needed it, so we have brought a South Philadelphia dining legend to suburbs!”

The restaurant and bar will be open daily from 11 am to 11 pm. The restaurant seats approximately 100 guests, and will also look to feature special small-group cooking demonstrations and classes. Ralph’s of South Philly will undoubtedly bring much added charm and character to Valley Forge’s burgeoning King of Prussia corridor as a dining destination.

"We are incredibly excited about this partnership. Our history and customer loyalty, combined with Wurzak’s impeccable reputation will be nothing short of an amazing venture for both Ralph's of South Philly and the Sheraton Valley Forge,” says Ryan Rubino.
