Starship Update: Parking, Volunteering and Openers

The free Jefferson Starship concert begins Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Valley Creek Park.

Jefferson Starship will land in East Whiteland Wednesday night to play a free concert. Here's what you need to know.

Cost: Free

Parking: In addition to the Valley Creek Park lot, parking will be available at Liberty Property offices on Countryview Road, north of the park in the Great Valley Corporate Center. Liberty Property has put in an improved walking path from their lot, through the wooded area, to the park.

Facilities: The park includes bathrooms, and early concert plans indicated a taco/burrito cart would be selling food.

Contribute: Volunteers and donations are still needed, according to organizers. Donations can be made via PayPal at www.friendsofsummerstage.com.
