Kids Eat Local: Julie Anne’s Place

Find out how kid-friendly Julie Anne's Place in Malvern is.

Restaurant:

Is there a kid’s menu? No, but the staff will make a grilled cheese sandwich or modify items to accommodate kids.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? The sandwiches, salads and omelettes are assembled when ordered, so they can be customized. Questions are welcomed, and the staff was ready to accommodate special requests.

Are there public restrooms? Yes. There are two unisex rooms—one on the ground floor and one upstairs.

How difficult is it to maneuver a stroller through the dining area? The space is small, but a stroller wouldn’t have to go far to get to a table. The square tables can be moved to accommodate a stroller or a group.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? It’s a very casual, neighborhood place. Christmas music was playing, and would cover any minor outburst.
