Longtime Paoli Vacancy Turning Into a Bank

A local landmark is getting a facelift.

For a while, the former Boston Market building at the corner of Lancaster Avenue and Route 252 in Paoli has stood as an empty building and something of a local landmark.

Now, it looks like a business is finally coming to fill that space.

According to a report from Main Line Media, the empty building will be turned into a PNC Bank in the near future.

From their story:

The Pittsburgh-based bank has signed a 20-year lease with the site’s owner, Pineville Paoli Associates.

“We had a lot of phone calls but didn’t go down the road with anyone else,” said Pineville principal Joe Botta, who rates the intersection an “A-plus” in terms of desirability and also owns the Walgreen’s next door.
