Restaurant Roundup: Majolica to Patty Mac's

A weekly look at reviews from nearby Patches.

Last week, the Dining Duo stopped in to Malvern staple the . But they weren't the only Patch people sizing up the local culinary scene. Here's a brief synopsis of the work other Patch foodies were turning in:

Phoenixville Patch's reviewer spent a special occasion at Majolica and as impressed by the wait staff as by the food:

Service was flawless. Our server was always there when we needed a juice refill, had a question or it was time for another course. When she wasn’t needed, she wasn’t there, which meant we could enjoy Majolica’s rich ambience in complete serenity.

Marple Newtown Patch at Newtown Square Pizza on West Chester Pike, and summed up the hot wing sauce thusly:

It was the kind of hot wing sauce that you can feel flooding your nostrils when you take an inhalation. Acidic, pungent and not for the faint of heart, this sauce packed a punch.

Media Patch's reviewer managed to work a The Cosby Show reference into of The Salad Stop:

The Salad Stop has a wide array of high protein, vegetarian and whole grain options. Though they were out of salmon when I went in (BOO!) I did get to order a great Cobb salad and caprese panini.

Tredyffrin Easttown Patch stopped into in Berwyn and found it comfortingly familiar:

The menu offerings cover everything a quaint little neighborhood diner would and then some including breakfast, lunch, gluten free options and even single serve French press coffee.
