Chesco Libraries Seek Online Feedback

A customer satisfaction survey can be taken online, even by those who don't use the library system.

Chester County Library System is looking for feedback from its customers about their habits and preferences. An online survey hosted via surveymonkey.com takes about 10 minutes to complete and answers are kept anonymous, according to the survey's opening screen.

The survey runs for two weeks—it was opened April 1 and ends April 14, according to Malvern librarian Rosalie Dietz.

The survey isn't only for active library patrons. The first question asks users whether they have a library card. A subsequent question asks which library you visit most, and one of the multiple-choice options is, "I don't visit the library."

Library patrons might also be interested to know that the online catalog will be out of commission April 10, as the system is updated:

We’re getting an upgrade!
CCLS member libraries are poised to embrace new frontiers in technology adding more power and potential to meet our patron’s emerging expectations.  For these reasons, our catalog will be down on Wednesday, April 10th.  You will still be able to visit the system libraries to check out books and use the internet.  Thank you for your understanding!
