Civil War Road Show: Meet the Reenactors

No, they don't use real bullets. Yes, the wool uniforms are hot.

As the Pennsylvania travels throughout the state, it enlists local reenactors to work at its events.

While the traveling history exhibit operates in the parking lot of this weekend, Brian MacKay and Rashell Haynes will be demonstrating period garb and weapons, and answering questions about life in America during the Civil War.

Check out the attached video to find out what draws certain people to the Civil War, how hot those uniforms are on a sunny day, and which questions reenactors are asked the most.
