Concrete Delivery to Impact King Street Traffic Thursday [Updated]

Motorists should expect significant delays as truckloads of concrete are delivered throughout the day.

Update 3/28/13 9am: Malvern Police report that traffic delays on East King Street have been minimal and remind motorists to exercise patience. Police will be monitoring traffic throughout the day. "Parking on East King Street is available for visitors who shop at our businesses," police said.

East King Street in Malvern Borough will be reduced to one lane of intermittent traffic Thursday, March 28, as 900 yards of concrete are delivered to the Eastside Flats construction site, police say.

The traffic changes will be in effect all day, between Bridge Street and Duffryn Avenue, from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to Malvern Police, who will be on-site. Flaggers will direct traffic during the deliveries.
