NWS: Hail, 50 mph Wind Possible With Severe Thunderstorms

The National Weather Service has issued a warning for Malvern and surrounding areas that severe thunderstorms might move in Wednesday through next Tuesday.

According to the forecast, the storms could include heavy downpours, wind gusts up to 50 mph, lightning and small hail. Residents are urged to move indoors immediately if they see lightning or hear thunder.

The weather statement predicts the storms could occur over through next Tuesday. From the statement:

Scattered thunderstorms developing from the southern Poconos into southeastern Pennsylvania and Northeastern Maryland will affect eastern Pennsylvania and the northern Delmarva into mid afternoon... A few of these thunderstorms may intensify and becoming severe.
