Historical Photo Location Revealed

This 1979 photograph was taken on East Swedesford Road.

It's time for the answer to 's Historical Snapshot challenge, which surprisingly only garnered two guesses.

The photo was taken circa 1979 at 967 E. Swedesford Road, just east of Bacton Hill Road, which was located at the corner of Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) and Church Road.

Hats off to , who correctly guessed the location. This is the first photo challenge in the series that shows a building still in use. The building is now home to a bank and offices.

"I chose this one because it is a great example of adaptive reuse which is a primary goal of the Historical Commission. This was turned into a bank that is there today," wrote commission member Tim Caban.
