Irene Moves On, Flood Warning Remains

Flooding is still an issue.

Irene, now a tropical storm, has moved over without much damage in the Malvern area. There are still strong winds observable in the area, so exercise caution on roadways and near trees and windows. Authorities are still urging people to stay home if at all possible.

A flash flood warning was issued for the Malvern area through 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Flood warning is in effect until 9 p.m. Sunday. Tropical storm warning in effect.
