Lane Restrictions on Route 202 North and South

PennDOT will close one lane in both directions on Route 202 during the nights this week. The roadwork will take place on the East Whiteland portion of the highway, between the Chesterbrook and Route 401 interchanges.

The work will take place Monday night to Thursday morning, July 24 to 28, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

From PennDOT:

Route 202’s southbound right lane and northbound left lane will be closed while crews reconstruct and widen shoulders, set concrete barriers in place, and paint traffic lines. The work schedule is weather dependent. In the event that inclement weather postpones construction one night, the contractor will work Saturday, July 30 from 12:01 a.m. to 10 a.m.

PennDOT’s contractor is rebuilding Route 202’s outside southbound shoulder and setting concrete barriers in place in preparation for shifting two lanes of northbound traffic over to the southbound side of the highway later this year. [...]
