Malvern Police Blotter: Five-Karat Diamond Theft
The following arrest information was supplied by the Malvern Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Theft… On Nov. 3, a resident of the 200 block of East Broad Street reported that prescription drugs had been stolen from his home. His Percocet pills, valued at $400, had been replaced with pills of unknown origin. The pills were taken taken to for identification, but were not positively identified. The homeowner said the pills might have been taken by a visitor to his home, which was for sale and open to potential buyers.
Theft… A small shopping cart valued at $100 was reported missing by the West King Street Wawa on Nov. 3.
Theft… A resident of the 100 block of Kentsdeal Court reported the theft of $35,000 worth of jewelry some time between Sept. 30 and Nov. 7. The missing items included a 5-karat diamond ring, solitaire engagement ring, diamond tennis bracelet and pearl earrings.
