Light Snow Possible Wednesday

Accumulations will total less than 1.5 inches, but could complicate the evening rush.

The National Weather Service is predicting up to a half-inch of snow for Chester County Wednesday. An 80 percent chance of precipitation could come in the form of rain or snow during the afternoon, but snow is more likely at night as the temperature drops into the 20s.

The evening commute could be messy, according to a hazardous weather statement issued by the NWS:

Light snow is expected to fall between about 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Accumulations are forecast to be an inch to an inch and a half in much of the region. Slippery spots are possible during the evening commute.
