One to Three Inches of Snow Possible Overnight in Great Valley Area

Monday night will see a return of wintry weather, but Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be clear.

The Great Valley area could see as much as three inches of snow Monday night. Precipitation could start as rain before 5 p.m., and change over to snow and sleet, leaving less than a half-inch on the ground before nightfall.

After dark, another one to three inches could fall, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS has issued a hazardous weather outlook report for the Delaware Valley region. It's worth noting, though, that the NWS had anticipated snowfall early Monday morning, which failed to materialize.

No hazardous is weather is predicted for Tuesday through the week, though the seven-day forecast does call for occasional rain showers alternating with sunshine beginning Thursday and continuing through the weekend.
