King of Prussia – U.S. Route 202 motorists in Chester County will encounter nighttime travel restrictions for construction between Route 29 and U.S. Route 30 in Tredyffrin and East Whiteland townships, respectively, next week, including the closure of the northbound off-ramp to Route 29 south, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced today.

This work is part of two PennDOT projects to improve travel and reduce congestion on Route 202 by rebuilding and expanding the highway to six lanes between the Swedesford Road and Route 30 interchanges. The combined construction value of the projects is $168.7 million.
