Reminder: Partial Closures on Route 401 in Effect
The area from Route 30 to Swedesford Road will be closed to through traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
A portion of Route 401 in East Whiteland Township will be subject to intermittent closures as Aqua Pennsylvania installs water mains. The work began Monday and is scheduled to continue during weekdays until Sept. 30.
Where: Route 401 (Conestoga Road) between Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Swedesford Road
When: Weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Sept. 30

According to PennDOT:
During construction, Route 401 (Conestoga Road) through traffic will be detoured over Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue), Route 29, and Swedesford Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
