A 52-year-old Malvern man was hit and killed by a van on Route 23 in East Pikeland Township Saturday night, according to the Daily Local News.
The accident happened on Route 23 near Route 724, according to articles in the Daily Local and other Journal Register Company news outlets:
Joel Mattson, 52, was not using a marked crosswalk to cross the street and was thrown from the roadway, said police. He was taken by ambulance to Phoenixville Hospital, said police.
