The Horses Are Coming to Devon
Horses, vendors, volunteers and fans from across the nation and at least three countries prepare to descend on Devon.
The Devon Horse Show opens Thursday on Lancaster Avenue in Devon. The storied grounds are abuzz with vendors, volunteers, carnival workers and equestrians of all types.
Horse Show Manager David Distler says horses from as far away as Canada, California and Colorado will begin arriving today. Patch will have pictures, stories and special looks at Devon history throughout the horse show which opens Thursday and runs through June 5.
